It is an ancient quarter of Civil Guard which has been restored and converted into a modern and functional housing, located in the deputation of Ramonete, with overlooking to the sea. It is the ideal place for the realization of nautical activities and for being in contact with Nature such as hiking, canoeing, windsurf, diving, snorkel, archery…
It is a wonderful place and scarcely to 50 meters from the sea you can find the Environmental Formation residence of Calnegre, the restored Quarter Of Civil Guard which counts with 48 beds in rate of housing, 20 beds in ten apartments, and one of them is adapted for handicapped people. There is also a house, a reception desk, a room having diverse applications and a restaurant ‘La Caracola’, as well as an area of showers and toilets outdoors, together with a free area for games and/or activities.

The Ground floor: In this plant you can find all the areas dedicated to a common use such as the room which has diverse applications for workshops, acts, courses, meetings…, a snack bar and a restaurant, a kitchen, masculine and feminine toilets, as well as the administration area. Four bedrooms have also been included for possible youth-hostellers who do not belong to organized groups and for handicapped people with the access from the exterior and its correspondent bathroom. In a short time, they will be also different spaces with pergolas.

The Upper floor: The capacity on the upper floor is of 6 bedrooms with 2 beds in each one, and a toilet. There are also 12 bedrooms with 4 beds in each one that is the housing as such. Moreover, there are masculine and feminine common toilets in this plant.
The Open Air Area: The selected typology in this plant, favours the creation of a shaped space as a public area with favours the privacy as well as the human relations. There are also gardens and sport areas.

The youth hostel is destined for young or old tourists, for groups of friends… it is for all kind of tourists. This is the place where you can carry out numerous activities such as workshops, ecological routes or demonstrations. In general, all kind of cultural, recreational and sport activities that serve as the point of approach and discovery of natural and rural space.
